Roof Installation done properly
A roof covering has a working life. When a slate or tile roof reaches the stage where it is being patched after every storm, replacing it properly costs less over time than chasing leaks. We strip the old covering, check every rafter, and build the roof back up with modern breathable membrane, new treated battens and the slate or tile you choose.
On new builds and extensions we work from your drawings and engineer's specification, and we coordinate with your builder so the roof is weathertight when the next trade needs it to be.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a re-roof take?
Most three-bed houses take one to two weeks, depending on the shape of the roof and the weather. You get a schedule with your quote, and the roof is kept covered and watertight at the end of every day.
Can you match the slate on my house or my neighbour's?
Usually, yes. We can source natural slates and fibre-cement slates in a range of sizes and colours. Bring us a sample or we'll take one during the survey.
Do I need to move out while the work is done?
No. The work happens outside and in the attic space. There is some noise during the strip-off, but you can stay in the house throughout.
