Skylight Repairs done properly
Water around a skylight or roof window can come from several places: flashing that has lifted or was never fitted correctly, slates or tiles around the frame that have moved, perished seals, or condensation running off the glass. Each needs a different fix.
We check the window inside and out, and repair or replace the parts that have failed. If the window is beyond saving, we can replace it in the same opening.

Frequently asked questions
Is my skylight leaking or is it condensation?
If the water appears in cold weather on the glass and runs down, it's usually condensation. If it appears after rain around the edge of the frame, it's usually the flashing. We can tell you which on a visit.
Can you replace just the glass?
Often, yes. Many roof windows take a replacement glazing unit without changing the frame.
Is it worth repairing an old roof window?
If the frame is sound, a repair is usually good value. If the frame is rotten or warped, replacing the window in the same opening is the better long-term fix.
