Skylight Installation done properly
A roof window is one of the simplest ways to bring daylight into an attic room, a landing or a single-storey extension. Done well, it is as weathertight as the roof around it. Done badly, it is the first place the roof leaks.
We cut in the opening, trim the rafters, and fit the window with the manufacturer's flashing kit to suit your slate or tile, so water runs around the window and not into it. Inside, we can leave the opening ready for your plasterer or finish the lining ourselves.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need planning permission for a roof window?
Roof windows on the rear of a house are often exempt, but it depends on your house and its location. Check with Tipperary County Council if you're unsure, especially for front-facing windows or protected structures.
How long does it take to fit a roof window?
A single roof window into an existing roof is usually fitted in a day.
Will it leak?
Not when it's fitted with the correct flashing kit for your roof covering and the membrane is dressed in properly. That's the part we take most care over.
